Actor-Musician.

Aaron originally hails from the West Midlands. Born in Birmingham and based in London. He is a working-class, Global Majority, queer artist; half English, quarter Caribbean and a quarter Scottish.

He trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts on the Postgraduate Acting Course. As well as graduating from BA Theatre Studies at the University of Surrey. Currently a board member of represent. Theatre, a new theatre company for actors from diverse and lower socio-economic backgrounds.

As an actor-musician, he sings, plays guitar, piano and writes and composes music.

Writer.

As a writer, his short plays have been performed at Criterion Theatre, Theatre503, Arcola Theatre, The Vaults and Ambassadors Theatre. His full-length play ‘Scars To Prove It’ was longlisted for the Papatango Prize and BOLD Playwright Scheme 2021; as well as being shortlisted for Pleasance Theatre. ‘The Proletarians’ full-length play was also shortlisted in the top 25 Traverse Theatre Open Submissions.

He is a commissioned and published playwright through James Graham’s Sketching and been commissioned by Birmingham REP. Recent commissions include new writing for an anthology of monologues published by Rikki Beadle-Blair’s Team Angelica showcasing diverse voices. Has written for Big Finish Productions’ ‘Doctor Who - The Robots’ series and currently writing on further projects.

He is currently the artistic director of new writing theatre company, Pint-Sized, with new plans coming 2024/25.

Took part in Criterion Theatre’s New Writing Scheme. Graduating to Playwright Development and Writing for Mixed Realities in association with Criterion Theatre. He was also an associate artist and Script Reader for Flux Theatre.
